What We Do
Smile Makeovers
We believe that everyone is entitled to a confident and beautiful smile. We provide cosmetic procedures to correct, enhance, and rehabilitate misshapen, misaligned, or discolored teeth to restore self-esteem and bring out the natural beauty of one’s smile. No matter how simple or complex the case, we recognize the importance of every makeover. Our experienced team of Cosmetic Dentists and specialists will collaborate to help you determine proper treatment and get you the results you desire.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin facings of tooth colored ceramic. They are bonded to the facial aspect of natural teeth to improve the appearance of one’s smile. These laminates are custom-designed to optimize tooth color, shape, size and alignment. Our advanced techniques allow us to perform this procedure with minimal to no tooth alteration. The transformation is complete in 7-14 days, requiring only 2 visits.
Whitening
We provide a 1 hour in-office tooth whitening treatment to rejuvenate your smile. Any extrinsic staining put on your teeth throughout the years can be eliminated through the use of concentrated whitening gel placed directly on the teeth to brighten, whiten, and refresh your look.
Preventative
A healthy mouth starts with good oral hygiene and a regular maintenance schedule of cleanings and diagnostics. Our providers aim to ensure that the gums, natural teeth, and existing restorations remain protected. A comprehensive hygiene visit that includes a thorough cleaning and examination and any necessary x-rays is essential to prevent major problems from occurring. We can diagnose incipient tooth decay, bone loss, and poorly fitting dental restorations to limit the extent of dental treatment required.
Dental Implants
When teeth are lost, so is some of the architectural support that the oral cavity provides to our face and overall health. The missing teeth will cause surrounding teeth to sustain increased biting forces which can disturb the mouth’s equilibrium resulting in shifting and tooth fractures. Dental implants are a reliable way of restoring these missing teeth that look, feel, and function just like natural teeth.
Dental implants are comprised of bio-compatible materials that harmoniously integrate with the human body. They are a safe and long-term solution if planned properly. Utilizing the latest digital technology we can completely plan for the final placement and restoration before surgery even happens.
Periodontics
It is known that the presence of certain bacteria in the mouth can lead to gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and periodontitis (loss of bone). Our office offers various treatments to these conditions depending on the extent of the disease process. Early intervention is beneficial to limit the extent of bone loss. We firmly believe in conservative therapy whenever possible, however, our office can provide the full scope of periodontal surgical services when necessary. Patients who have suffered from periodontal infections in the past are a risk of recurrent infection. Therefore, it is necessary to follow up a successfully completed treatment with regular maintenance therapy.
Endodontics
Endodontics (root canal treatment) serves to preserve teeth when the corresponding dental nerves become infected or die. Infection can be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay, cracks and fractures, or repeated dental procedures. Symptoms of the infection may present as pain and/or swelling around a tooth. Various anesthetic methods can ensure that all steps in this treatment can be carried out completely pain-free. Following successful endodontic treatment, it is important to properly restore the tooth to prevent root canal failure or tooth fracture.
TMD & Sleep Apnea
TMD or Temporo-Mandibular Disorder occurs when the TMJ (Temporo-Mandibular Joint) is not functioning properly. Many times the joint and surrounding anatomical structures are parafunctioning and, as a result, facial pain, muscle tightness, jaw clicking, and limited mouth opening can occur. Excessive tooth wear and chipping are tell tale signs of the disorder. The majority of cases can be treated conservatively with various bruxism appliances (nightguards). The appliances help to relax the muscles used to open and close the mouth. They also serve to protect the teeth from further wear. Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. Loud snoring and continued tiredness can be associated with this condition. Patients with mild obstructive disorder can be treated with various oral appliances that advance the jaw to aid in keeping the airway open.
Orthodontics
We are invisalign certified providers. We use clear aligners to straighten teeth and offer various retainer solutions for long term maintenance.
